DSC_0512

November 14, 2012 could not have been a better day to leave Vancouver.

Randall and I boarded a plane and we spent the next little while in the sky.

That bag might be necessary if you end up viewing this entire post of substantial art.

It’s quite a time to watch all this go by.

Some of these, particularly this frame, deserve to be viewed at higher resolution. That’s not even full res.

After finding our accommodations we managed to find the next important thing. Eating in Texas.

Our server was a good salesman. Also yes that tasted good.

We would decline another round, then he would bring more beers. We drank them anyway. We don’t care.

We were totally out of control. We drank so many beers. And pie.

Also we found out that someone else was totally out of control.

Although many businesses had put on a welcoming message, it was quite clear that most of the locals had left town for fear of the F1 masses.

In the next post there will be some additional very exciting photographs such as more pictures of food, some signs, a vehicle and pieces of paper.

Random snappings

Good morning internet! These are just a few shots made back in October shortly after getting my new camera.

Before I get in to the snip snaps, you may have noticed that the URL for my blog has been changed. Over at affectuoso.ca I’ve made a little collection of some of my favourite photographs using a very fancy portfolio format so look at that and be welcome to let me know how you feel about it.

As said this is a bit random but still some stuff I like and want to share. Coming up soon, some photos from my trip Austin last year…

DSC_0106I was reading a book and drinking coffee.

DSC_0110When we stopped in front of Cactus Club this kind woman explained to the bus driver that the reason they keep the lights so low in there is so you can’t read the price on the bill!

Family Presidential Debate Night

Have you ever had one of those days where you couldn’t help but feel a bit d600y?

That’s what I thought. Welcome back to my little blog where I’m going to place a little bit of images while I explore some new things.

I got some of mine on too. Nothing like a little 12 string Foggy Mountain Breakdown before the big debate, right?

Right.

Somebody got tired of listening to the bullshit.

July two thousand and ten

Hello.

This is what it looks like when my blog is updated.

That’s not a real baby.

That’s on the ferry.

That’s one of my favourites. Don’t know him but he seemed to appreciate that moment as we both stood there for a long time before I made a photo.

This is between Vancouver and Nanaimo.

Hehe, sisters.

Coombs.

Getting caught.

Back in Vancouver. Here’s two exposures of the same scene. I guess you’re supposed to mash those together and make an HDR BL1NG BL4NG and get really popular on the Internet.

This happened after my first group ride to Squamish. We pulled in to the parking lot at Starbucks and this young Batman approached our group rather thrilled with all the motorcycles. He managed to snag himself a seat and I remembered that I had a camera in my tank bag.

I told his guardian that I would e-mail the pictures but that sometimes it takes me a while to develop, scan, and edit my photos… I hope she still uses that hotmail :p

Celebrating the sun.

But also Thinking of Things.

Getting the camera turned.

Pressing the shutter by mistake. The last frame.

Thank you for scrolling all the way to the bottom. I will endeavor to catch up a bit on some scanning and stuff. It would be a novelty to post some photographs from this summer before this summer ends.
